Birth Process Workshops are unique growth experiences that can be deeply transformative and life-changing. Stress and trauma from conception, prenatal,birth and neo-natal experience can form deep imprints on our nervous system and our developing body-mind.

 .

 

These imprints create behavior patterns that affect our health and relationships, leading to pain and suffering and creating a “narrative” of our life that may be painfully repetitive.

 .

 

Resolving these imprints can lead to dynamic changes in your adult life experience, shifting your view of the world you came into and opening new possibilities for the life you wish to lead here.

 .

 

Enhance your loving relationships

By helping to retrain your social nervous system, the growth you experience in the Birth Process Workshop can enhance your ability to experience healthy, loving and bonded relationships with your spouse, family, friends and most importantly, with yourself.

 .

An intimate, supportive environment

Your experience in the Birth Process Workshop will happen in an intimate and supportive environment with 5 to 6 other participants. Each of you will have the opportunity to take 2–3 hours to revisit some portion of your conception, prenatal, birth, or early life experience, or to explore adult issues that may have early roots.

 .

 

Gary will gently guide you through your own process, and the others in the group will lend their support as you explore some aspect of your early (or adult) life that you sense is continuing to create problems and challenges for you.

 .

 

Gentle encouragement to let go

During your process, you’ll be gently encouraged to take advantage of all the resources provided by Gary and the group to relax, settle your nervous system, sink into the support available, and uncouple (let go of) undesirable aspects of your own life narrative.

 .

 

This is the process of relaxing into what is called the “womb surround.” It is a very slow, gentle, and ever-deepening process. You may be surprised to find how easy it is to identify and then let go of troubling aspects of your narrative that have sabotaged you and your relationships throughout life.

Create a new way of being in the world

With Gary’s support and with the collective power of the group, you often have the experience of creating a new narrative, a new way of being in the world, and enjoying a new level of safety, respect, joy and love with yourself and others.

A process workshop can move your healing process light years ahead, and your participation in the surround can be nearly as powerful and transformative as your own individual work.

 .

About Gary Peterson

Gary Peterson is a Registered Craniosacral Therapist (RCST®) who has practiced and taught energy therapies for over 30 years. He teaches Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy trainings around the Untied States, as well as workshops on birth imprinting and other therapeutic work with the nervous system.

 .

 

Gary completed a post-graduate training with Dr. Ray Castellino in Prenatal / Birth Therapy, and works with babies, children and adults in his private practice.

 .

 

Gary’s non-invasive, slow, gentle approach is highly effective for resolving prenatal and birth traumas, helping babies and their parents to achieve secure bonding and attachment. Gary also helps adults to resolve birth-related stress and trauma in experiential events called Birth Process Workshops.

 .

 

Gary’s first book, due in 2012, is entitled “Settling: Simple Ways to Calm Your Nervous System.” This self-help manual gives everyone a simple set of skills for regulating their nervous system in order to find more balance and ease in life.

 .

 

Gary and his wife Bonnie have three grown children and live in Longmont, Colo.
